May 1951 “AIKOSHA Watch Manufacturing Co., Ltd.” founded in Suitosaki-machi 4-25, Higashi-ku, Nagoya (Present: 2-9-36 Aoi, Higashi-ku, Nagoya) with the capital of 2 Million Yen
Started with brothers Tsuneo Hayakawa, President and Kiyoo Hayakawa, Executive Vice President
Started manufacturing antique SEIKO wall clock
September 1964 Established Kyowa Watch Co., Ltd. in joint investment with Seikousha Co., Ltd. in Hichiso, Koma-gun, Gifu, and started assembling SEIKO brand watches
December 1964 Hichiso plant of the company became operational
Started clock movement production as well as OEM production (SEIKO)
August 1985 Kiyoo Hayakawa became the President of the company
April 1987 Head office moved to Meito-ku, Nagoya
January 1989 Started focusing on micro precision cutting process business
